OVERVIEW
As an Advisor at Perspectives, you’ll help shape a new and innovative approach to service delivery. This role involves supporting individuals with disabilities by assisting with interviewing and managing support teams, including Direct Support Professionals. You will create direct care schedules, facilitate meetings, and write person-centered plans for community living. Your oversight ensures the highest quality of services provided to those we serve.
Key Responisbilities:
- Assist in interviewing and managing a team of Direct Support Professionals.
- Develop and manage direct care schedules.
- Facilitate meetings and write person-centered plans.
- Oversee the services provided, ensuring they meet our standards and the individual's needs.
- Maintain effective interdepartmental communications and liaise with family supports.
- Engage in community mapping and facilitate community connections.
- Responsible for documentation and reporting outcomes as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimal Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
- 3 years of experience providing exceptional and culturally appropriate direct support services to individuals with disabilities
- Motivation to help individuals with disabilities succeed
- Proven skill to establish rapport and relate sensitively to individuals with disabilities and their support circles
- Demonstration of building inclusive opportunities for individuals with disabilities
- Competent to prepare & engage individuals with disabilities in the person-centered planning process
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-through
- Proficiency using digital devices and operating systems
- Outstanding verbal, written and face-to-face communication skills
- Effective conflict resolution & problem-solving skills
- Strong meeting facilitation and presenting in front of a group
- Ability to work autonomously and in collaboration with others
- Valid driver’s license, favorable driving record and access to a registered and insured vehicle
Desired Qualifications:
- Supervisory experience
- 2-year degree, certificate in a human services field or bachelor’s degree
- Certification or proof of enrollment in Learn to Lead, NADSP DSP I/II or III, Frontline Supervisor, PATH, Person-centered Thinking Facilitator, ACRE approved training and/or Supported Employment 101 (SE101)

LOCATION
Based on caseload, Advisors may work in communities all across the state. Candidates should be comfortable with traveling wherever needed, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to our clients’ locations.
