Statewide Meet the Candidates Night

The Statewide Meet the Candidates Night is being hosted by CPN-RI tomorrow evening, 10/19/06, from 6 PM – 8 PM at CCRI Knight Campus (lower commons).

This forum will have the candidates running for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State and General Treasurer. It’s a great opportunity to meet with the candidates in a informal atmosphere.

Making Strides for Breast Cancer Walk

On October 22, Linda Ward from Opportunities Unlimited will be participating in the 11th annual Making Strides for Breast Cancer Walk. This is a 5-mile walk being held at Roger Williams Park. This is the third year a team from Opportunities Unlimited has participated.

Last year, they raised over $2100 for this cause. As you may remember, Linda made a personal pledge to raise $1500. With your help, she exceeded this amount and raised $1615.
