Behavior Specialists will work directly with the child with the involvement of a clinical team, with the goal of implementing and modeling strategies to parents, teachers, and care givers to foster independence in the child's home, school and community.
As part of the treatment team, this position will receive regular supervision and support from a licensed clinician. Candidates must have at least one year of college level education or currently be enrolled in a minimum of 6 college credits; have a favorable criminal background check, favorable driving record, and DCYF clearance. Proficient users of American Sign Language (ASL) and bilingual Spanish/English candidates encouraged to apply.
