Perspectives Corporation seeks caring, creative, flexible, reliable staff to work with people who have developmental and intellectual disabilities. Full-time and part-time positions are currently available in our Community-based Adult Day Services and Independent Living Programs.
Perspectives Corporation's Adult Day Services and Independent Living Programs consists of community-based and home-based programs which provide services from Providence to Westerly areas.
Direct Support Professionals working in Adult day Services Programs focus on engaging participants in various social settings, promoting healthy living and leisure activities, employment development, life-long learning and self-determination. Most participants utilizing Adult Day Services live in a residential setting, Shared Living Arrangement (SLA) or with family members.
Direct Support Professionals working in Independent Living Programs primarily focus on assisting participants with managing their healthcare (i.e. medical appointments, Medicaid), financial skills (i.e. Social Security benefits, budgeting) , and household management . Direct Support Professionals working in Independent Living Programs provide home-based and community-based services to participants who live in their own home.
We require a favorable criminal record check, safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle. High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
