Perspectives Deaf and Hard of Hearing Day services are available to people who are living in the community who need support in being a full participant in their home community.
Our Day Services program is a community-based program that helps Deaf and Hard of Hearing people with intellectual and developmental disabilities fully participate in their home communities. We empower people to be involved in the management of their own lives, and to achieve their goals through personal choices by teaching them skills and strategies. DHOH Day Services strives to match staff with a person's preferred language, as well as give them access to a professional team fluent in ASL.
This program is provided in the community, where people can pursue their own interests and goals in a real-world environment. We work with a person to empower them to navigate their world as a Deaf or Hard of Hearing person. Skills can include money management, daily planning, communication access, community safety, and other skills based on people preferences.
Employment services are also available in our day services program if people are interested. Please visit our Deaf and Hard of Hearing Employment Services page for more information.
